"Over the course of my career, I have explored many different modes of expression: fabrication, form, function, color, texture, style and scale. Although I often produce work on a relatively intimate scale, my inspiration finds great fulfillment in the creation of sculptural work. My recent sculptural forms explore the mystery and power of large monolithic heads, figures and torsos, while an earlier series of masks sought to develop a contemporary mythology bridging artificial cultural and temporal divides."
